The Sprinkler Dance

We discovered a loop-hole in the water law that allows for sprinklers for children's recreation so during yesterday's scorching heat Meghan danced her way through the wiggly sprayers.

This past weekend, I gained my first sister! The wedding was beautiful and a lot of fun for all. I wish we had more pictures.

A New Friend

For whatever reason, whenever Meghan saw her neighbour Ava, she (Meghan) made a beeline for our house. Meghan avoided eye contact and never returned a hello. Yesterday, something changed. Now the two of them are the best of friends like we hoped they'd be. Here's hoping this continues ...

Playing Catch with Daddy

With Mommy and Daddy both playing baseball this summer, Meghan thought it only fair that she play too. So we got her a baseball glove for her birthday.

Pre-instruction, Meghan's catching style seems a little unorthodox. Also, it seems a little unfair that Meghan got the side with the sun in her eyes	After many misses, and a few times where Meghan caught the ball then had it fall out of her glove, Daddy introduces the 'cover it with your hand' technique. Meghan's interpretation includes a windup.
