We haven't been very fast with the camera for the last little while but here are a few things from the last month or so that we did manage to capture. The terrible ones are from my phone:

Meghan's Birthday - The Party

Meghan here, reporting from the aftermath of THE best 5th birthday party! It went by so fast that much of it is a blur but I'll tell you what I can remember.

I asked Mommy for a party with all my favourite things: Littlest Pet Shop, Thomas, Flowers, Balloons, Princesses, a treasure hunt, cats and dogs, and, of course, lots and lots of pink and purple. Mommy kept most of the decorations a secret but I had faith that she could put all those things together into one party.

Two days before the party, the decorating started. Mommy and daddy put flowers, polka dots, and a happy birthday sign up on the wall and curly streamers on the ceiling. My friend and I decorated some foam butterfly shapes with gems and sprinkles too.

At the party we played lots of fun games, won awesome Littlest Pet Shop prizes, created cat and dog bobble heads, and ate yummy pizza. We even planted our own flowers to attract real butterflies.

I think my favourite part was the Thomas pinata. My friends seemed to have some serious angst towards it though. First they broke it open and collected all the fun stuff inside. That much I expected. It was the all out assault on him afterwards that I wasn't prepared for. They tore him to shreds!

All in all a great day, but next time, we need one more adult to take more pictures.
