This morning, Meghan visited the Dentist for the first time. In the waiting room we read a book about Dora's visit to the dentist's office. Then Meghan was excited to do it too. When it was her turn, Meghan was called into the office and given a tour of the room. She got to ride up and down in the chair and try out all the instruments. She especially liked using the vacuum to suck water out a cup. Getting to wear sunglasses was another highlight.
The Dentist checked her teeth and the Hygienist cleaned them without any problems. For being a good patient, she received a sticker and and a toothbrush. Plus, being cavity free, she also got to pick an item from the treasure chest. After much deliberation, she chose a purple bracelet. It took her a really long time to decide though because she was quite sure that, if she looked hard enough, there was some candy somewhere in the trunk. She even tried eating an eraser just to be sure. Lastly, being cavity free, she was entered into a draw for a free movie.
All in all a positive experience. Sorry no pictures though.

Wow, sounds like the visit went great, and congrats on being cavity-free!
That sounds like a great dentist! Does s/he specialize in children? We haven't looked for one for Caitlin yet. Now I know the standard!
