Yellow Giraffes T-Ball

This year the city's girls T-ball was sponsored by Honda and therefore free to play. So there were enough kids to have an actual T-ball league (this is a soccer town). Last year Meghan had to play coach-pitch (one level up) with much older kids - some literally twice her age. This year, she was one of the oldest and enjoyed that much better.

Happy Birthday Meghan

On June 21, Meghan turned 6.
This year's party theme was bugs.

On Friday the 24th, Meghan and 6 friends gathered at our house to save Christopher Cricket from becoming a Dumb Bunnies' pet. One of these years, I'm going to remember to have a third adult present to take pictures...

Loot bags
(that Christopher Cricket had locked in the "safe". The kids had to follow the clues to rescue Christopher Cricket and to find the safe combination, and subsequently their treasure.)

Cake Pops
(a big hit and so easy - see bakerella.com for recipes and ideas)

Party Hats
(the kids made their own party hats to disguise themselves as bugs)

Meghan and I put so much work into the decorations and this is the closest thing to a picture I have :-(

Wonderland with Grammy and Grandpa

You'll need to click on this pic and see it big to fully appreciate the joy on Meghan's face. She's the kid in the middle who's clearly having the most fun on this ride.
