Latest Visitor at the Feeder

With the usual thud, accompanied by a scurry of wings from outside, the latest predator to discover the Mourning Dove smorgasbord that is our backyard made his presence known. (The thud, if it isn't obvious, is the collection of Mourning Dove's that suddenly forget that our living room window is solid...) I've now placed the camera next to the window in the hopes that next time we get a visitor I might be able to get a clearer shot. This morning what I'm pretty sure was a Sharp-shinned Hawk landed on the actual feeder. Suffice to say, he wasn't interested in the seeds I'd put out...
