Leprechauns!

Meghan here with an exclusive report on the unexpected arrival of some less-than-desirable house guests.

We knew we had leprechauns when we awoke to huge messes and missing candy. They're sneaky little buggers too! They only strike when you're sleeping.

After two days of this we decided to set traps. After all, if you catch one, they have to grant you three wishes.

Mommy and I spent all afternoon making our traps. We covered white boxes in St. Patrick's Day stickers and filled them with shiny green things (like beads) and candy. Then we hid them in the darkest corners of the rooms with the biggest messes.

In the morning, we found the boxes emptied, moved, and surrounded by shiny shamrock footprints. One of the boxes had my Swiper figurine in it. I was upset about that because I had taken it to bed with me the previous night to keep it safe.

Now, full of candy, it seems that the leprechauns have left (at least for now). But be warned! Keep an eye on your shiny green stuff. They may have moved to your house!

Good for you Meghan! Your traps must have been very well made. We'll be sure to call you if we have any in our house!!
